A blast from our past! This song, "All the Things You Are", was one that my good friend Linda would sing while I accompanied her on the piano. We used to perform together 20 years ago when she sang with the San Diego Lyric Opera. She is a good friend and a terrific vocalist. I wish she hadn't retired from singing!
The "Esquisses Op. 63" by Alkan is a set of 48 piano pieces in various moods. Frank performs "La Vision" which is the first piece in the collection.
